Since 1985 Klein’s Home Improvement has served North Idaho and the Spokane valley. Rudy Klein started with a dream of having the best remodeling company in the area. What started out as one man’s dream has grown into a thriving business, employing up to 30 people. The drive for honest quality that Rudy started out with continues to guide the work we do today.
While the initial focus was on remodeling, in 1991 as the local area grew we added insurance restoration to the services offered to our customers. Through the years we have continued to add to the services we provide our customers:
- 1994 water mitigation (drying out a structure).
- 1997 ERV (Emergency Response Vehicle). This allowed us to reduce our response time and have at our fingertips the equipment we need to handle emergencies 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
- 2001 we joined Disaster Kleenup International. This organization is a network of the leading, independent property damage restoration contractors across North America. To join DKI, a company must have an excellent reputation and a minimum of 5 years experience working with insurance. When we joined we added the name: Klein’s Disaster Kleenup (Klein’s DKI).
- 2002 we purchased our present building with 6,000 square feet of office/warehouse space. This expansion has enabled Klein’s DKI to offer content cleaning to our customers (which is packing out damaged belongings, cleaning them and storing them in our secure climate controlled warehouse). Our facility also includes a secure ozone room for odor removal.
From our humble beginnings in 1985 to the present, Klein’s DKI has always stood for quality workmanship and honest respectful treatment of our customers.
